capos....
i was reading the thread about using a capo on an electiric and saw that a majority of people use kyser...i am in love with my capo however i found a new type that i absolutely am giddy over. have any of you ever used a cut-capo...not a drop d capo but a cut capo...these little beauties offer some really cool chords and tones...i have found that alot of praise and worship musicians and songwriters are using these more and more. kyser has the only one i know of but it can bring an added dimension to your music. when i am playing with another or more guitarists, i can pop on my cut capo on and be different yet same...if they are playing in E i can cut capo 2nd fret and add neat and pretty stuff....ok i am babbling now just wondering if anyone else is having as much fun as i am with one

It's a 3-string capo, that's where it gets the term cut from. I only use a full capo, and the one I use is Planet Waves.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
