Palomino tube amps

hey guys, just thought I'd tell you my experiences with the Palomino V8 5w tube amp I got with Christmas funds. It appealed to me for the small size (dorms), killer tone, and awesome blonde aesthetics. They come in larger models that I didn't try out, but mine, for 5w, packs quite a punch. It is very simple, with only gain, tone, and volume knobs and input and output jacks, but you can get a pretty wide range of tones from it--from low gain, clean silkiness to crunchy tube overdrive. I'd recommend these amps (or at least the 5w!) to anyone looking for some tube tone at an affordable price (160 is what I believe the 5w's are).

I saw that when I was amp shoping, and it looked nice. Wonder how it compares to the Epi Valve Jr in sound?

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
