That reminds me of one of my wife's rellies who bought he's son a brand spanking new SG. WHY?
Because he wants to learn guitar............................................ ..........NO!

The real reason=His son is a big ACDC fan and he collects everything he can lay his hands on.

Get this, he even bought his son an overseas ACDC concert ticket even though he wouldn't be attending, just so he could add it to his collection.:stupid:

More money than sense, me thinks!!

A friend of mine was in a shop when a guy came in with his kid to pick up gear so he could learn guitar. Started with a custom shop Gibbson LP and a custom amp. Walked out of the store 20 minutes later with 20 grand worth of gear for a 13 year old who has never held a guitar before.

All I can say is, that I hope the kid really devotes himself to learning and takes mighty good care of his equipment.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
