For those who didn't see my other thread, my guitar student has this same guitar (same model and color) and needless to say he was surprised when I showed it to him at one of our lessons....
When I first got there I kept my guitar in the case while we connected the splitter and cables to his amp. Then I waited for him to get his guitar off the wall and get situated, then I brought mine out. At first he was just playing his and wasn't paying attention to mine, so I kind of gave the downward head nod towards my guitar and when he saw it he looked about like this
Then he looked back down at his and looked at mine, and said "did you just get that?" LOL
I was hilarious and after the initial shock wore off he said "I thought you had my guitar and somehow I had yours but then, no that couldn't be because I just grabbed mine off the wall". It was perfect, he was not expecting that at all and it had him totally confused for a second or two. That was the reaction I was hoping for and more!

Tekker,
Wow, the pictures are super. Congrats on your new found friend.
I hope your enjoying it as much as you'd hoped when you first mentioned it in an earlier thread. I'm sure you had fun with your student too.
As you know I posted mine last week and I think its great. You did hear the sound bite.
Here's to having fun. Almost like having twins here.
Have some of your persniketty friend looked at it? The folks I have shown certainly did like it.
Say, that Cort looks very nice too.
Sean all I can finish with is .................... Enjoy it.

I sure did. It sounded really good (both the playing and the guitar)!

I took my guitar to church on Saturday for our electric guitarist to check it out and he was quite impressed with it even though he's not a fan of semi-hollow bodies. It had more bite than I think he was expecting. It sounded sooooooo amazing through his Guytron amp.

Yeah, I love it. It's a great compliment to the Raven, both in color and in sound as the Cort is a solid body with a coil tap, so it can get the single coil tone as well.

I certainly will! And I hope you enjoy yours as well!

That's a purty guitar, Tekker! I love quilted maple tops, that's an absolutely beautiful finish. Congrats!

I remember the earlier thread kind of thought it was only a matter of time before you got one, beautiful guitar Tekker and the Cort is as well, the quilted effect looks great, nice one.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
