Vox AD30VT or Vox AD30VT-XL

I am seriously considering purchasing the vox AD30VT amp. While looking on musiciansfriend I noticed there is also a vox AD30VT-XL. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what added features the XL has and if it is worth the extra money. Any input would be much appreciated. Tnx

I tried both out in the store and the Xl gives alot more distortion and effects models more toward Metal. You really need to try them out. Those were the amps I was most interested in when I went looking to buy and ended up getting the DA 20 which i'm really happy with. Gonna depend on your taste. throw a Roland Cube 30 into the mix and it gets even more interesting. Good luck.

Scott hit the nail on the head with that it is geared for Metal, great amps either would suit you well!

Scott58 and krisovo thanks for your input. You have supplied me with the information I was looking for. Your right I should go to GC and try these amps out but I always feel completely out of my element. Must have something to do with my age. Thanks again, dire.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
