GIO Ibanez... Heard about it?

Hello there, this post is after my post of asking suggestion on which brand of electric to buy. Now i make a decision already. i going to get an ibanez. Luck come and i found out my friend's friend is going to sell his GIO Ibanez for some good price.

He palyed guitar for 5-6 years and he said that even His GIO ibanez is quite cheap in price but then the quality is high which mean he GIG a lot with that GIO Ibanez. He used to train/jam with that guitar too...

the reason why i post this thread because when i go ibanez official website. I see all those RG prestige , S, Z, and etc but then i din see any GIO...

Now i wanted to ask for opinion on what GIO model is it...personally i try it out at his room and it product very good sound. so can i hear more about GIO ibanez from u guys out there who knows it? if i am not mistake its GIO-007

personally I think that the mid range series is better than the GIO's. But they're good to start with if you don't mind the tuning stability issues (only if it has a tremolo). Mid range (RG seris only) have a floyd rose licensed trem while the GIO equivilents only have a SAT pro bridge.

Can't wait for my S470 though!

They get good reviews for a low end axe. A good bang for the buck.

GIO's include several lines (check this link)

Ibanez GIO - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is a budget line and many say the quality is inconsistent, which is probably true, but for most beginners it's more than adequate. I've played a lot of AC/DC on a GAX and it is great for that.

If youre not going to whammy abuse You shouldn't get the 370. I only got the 370 because of the tuning stability.
