Just for the sport of it..
Can anyone point me to a Samick guitar dealer in the states other than The guitar Factory and Guitars East? Great guitars, just can't seem to organize a list of dealers, and a google search keeps turning up the same results no matter what criteria I enter.
I'm looking for one of their acoustic electrics with no cut away with a cedar top, and they're like the proverbial hen's tooth to find.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks, X4. They make them in Dread and Jumbo designs without the cut in about 3-4 of their line. Solid cedar with either rosewood or ovangkhol sides and back. The one you linked me to is the latter, called the Rio Grande. Good price at that place, I've seen the cut version for about $100 more.

Heard from a dealer who is checking availability of the Southern Jumbo Carolina. They say $408 shipped with a hard case, so I have my fingers crossed. I've been a good boy and pracriced every day, I deserve a treat. LOL

Sweet, you'll have to give us a lil something to listen to after you break her in.

My playing needs to become fit for human consumption first, then we'll post. How are you doing with your Avion? Did you compare that to the Epi Les Pauls before you bought?

I like it more and more each day, quite a difference from the sqiure.
Looked at 1 LP at a local trade store but a little steep for my budget and skills. was debating between this and a G&L legacy and well you know who won. It just felt better in my hands than the others, and as a woodworker on the side I fell in luv with the looks. But as the budget allows that G&L will probably move in with me soon, that and I need an accoustic{NEED, thats what I tell the Mrs}.
And don't be shy about your playing, I've posted some gosh awful stuff and getting some feed back is great and inspires one to improve. I always look at it as...hey somebody could use a laugh I should post some of my playing{lol}.

I'll tell ya, that A3 caught my eye when I first thought of an electric. Could not swing it at the time so picked up a Squire 51 and a Fender Frontman 25R to start. Then my penchant for the wood box had me spending on a cedar top acoustic electric Carolina. If I can just be patient a bit longer, I'll sell the 51 and go Avion. Nice stuff, much better value dollar for dollar than the Epi's. No dealers near me for Samick, so i'm tied into cross my fingers kind of on line ordering. That is unless the cedar Rio Grande grabs for my credit card first. Great to finally talk someone else who's found the value to be had with Samicks. All the best.
