My Main Squeeze Rig

I've had a lot of amps (Ampeq, Fender, Marshall) and many guitars (mostly Les Pauls) while I was growing up. But I settled on this rig ... '78 Mesa/Boogie with EVM12L (built the cabinet myself) & '80 Yamaha SA2000. I have other guitars, but this rig just feels right ... stock ... never change them or get rid of them.

I used to have a basement full of woodworking equipment ... that cabinet is jam up. It still looks new after 29 years ... really put together well ... but it weighs 46 pounds ... pretty heavy for a 1x12. But I used to have two 4x12 cabinets with Altecs ... cabs weighed as much as I did. Throw a mic on the 1x12 and your there. Could never go back to the big cabs.

Wow! A Mesa Boogie head. Now that's some serious tone and it can move some air around. Sweet.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
