Super distort the sound, and play one string over and over again. =)

mmm.....1st: Why tha heck you want that sound? Is really awefull....

Anyway, i have tons of magz...so here is the main thing to achieve Kornīs nasty sound:

1- Get a 7th string guitar and detune it to A or B....depends on the song...

2-The most important thing: get a Mesa Boogie Rectifier kinda distorion unity (it can be a guitar amp simulator...)

3- The EQ should be plenty with LOWS and Treble, and GET RID OF THE MIDS!!! (..and i mean 0 gain on the mids.)

4-They use some Ibanez pedal efects for chorus and delays...you might check them out at www.ibanez.com

Thanks... think I might check into that. Does it also tell you how to set the settings on your amp or does it just tell you the equip. You know like just set mid at like 5 bass at 10 etc.

Well, Total Guitar does with the Line6 POD XT Live, and Guitar world have an agrement with Digitech GNX4 for tones on each song they show.
