Any particular reason that your going with jumbo type guitars? Some of them can successfully have the string height lowered to be ok for picking and some can't. They are primarily a stand up strumming guitar. Are you sure this is what your after? Make sure you buy one from a store that will let you exchange it. The reviews tend to be all over the place.

Go the extra $50 for the Ibanez... http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ner?sku=519998

Built in tuner, and better ratings on HC and the selling website. Not to mention they look killer!

I've been after one of those ibanez guitars for a while... gotta start saving... I just love that red sunburst though it's insane.

ah, you guys are killing me, so many different opinions
I did finally find a PR5-E at a local store today and my expert friend had palyed for me. There's really no big difference in sound compared to the AJ-200SCE. I just like the look of PR5-E better (especially when they have it in black). Also, the hard shell case is just $59.99 (compared to others like $89.99). i guess that i have to check out the ibanez now... since you guys bring it up. i also read about the strings height for the PR5-E is high. I totally agree (my expert friend noticed that right away when he picked it up). I also checked some local stores for the adjustment, cost about $55, is that a good price (probably don't want to do it myself because I don't know jack)? thx for all the opinions

ok, so i went to another store today, couldn't find the AEL20E. But I encountered 2 more guitars that I like:

1) Dean Exotica http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...tar?sku=519828

2) Ibanez Exotic Wood http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...er-?sku=512118

What do you guys think? I probably going to stop shopping around now and actually make a decision and get some guitar action going.

Ok, I finally made up my mind and got the Ibanez EW20ASE from Guitar Center. After a long bargain, I was able to get a $410 deal out the door with a TKL 7820 case When I took a closer look at home, it was actually made in China... I guess that it doesn't really matter which coutry made it, does it?
