heres another "what should i buy"

i've been playing steel string and classical for a bit now and am looking at electrics. i like the sound and shape of les pauls. A gibson would be nice, but they seem a bit pricy. Epiphones seem like a nice alternative.

these are the candiates ive got so far. any input as to whats good or bad, or other possibilities, is appreciated.

All those epis are good. I have a lot of friends that are happy with the studio. Agiles are a huge bang for the buck low end guitar. I have posted about them here before. The quality is quite good and their cheap enough that you can upgrade to about 70% of the tone you would get from a Gibbson lp. They are nuts for them at Harmony Central. Google for the forum, hit the search box for agile and be prepared to be buried in posts.lol.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
