Sorry about the backing being loud--it was pretty impromptu, just using 1 mic to record him thru his soundboard/PA and myself thru a little behringer v-tone he uses for students, so not much "mix" to be had . Thanks a lot for the comments though guys, very much appreciated

Nice one JREC,good job...You have all the time in the world to improve. It's good to make mistakes so that you will be able to learn from them...Besides the backing you can always improve the quality of the recording, but as I said,no need to rush things.Keep trying and there will be only one way,UP !!
The best of luck improving,
Theo

JREC,
That was very nice. Keep them coming. Jump in with the rest of us in Members Lets Hear you also. You already got the opinions on the Backing Track. In all still a nice take.

That was very cool
Seems like I've been having one of those days
Since sometime back in 1998
And a turnaround is surely on the way
Or maybe that's me spinning down the drain

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
