Hello there UV...
Allthough I don't really know what dark is,I wouldn't say it is.What I hear in your song is a great guitarist with even greater improvisations!I really love these kind of melodies, congratulations! .The solo is just great!...One of my favourite groups is The Shadows.Only instrumental music and all guitar solos!Just superb !!Check it out if you wish YouTube - The Shadows - Apache

Holy crap, UV that was fantastic! I had to add it to my library.

Since I'm a newb, I must ask: how did you accomplish the tone of the guitar? (Setting wise, what did you use?)

Thanks and keep rocking man!

If I remember correctly, it was my Ibanez Jem7DBK through a Digitech Whammy2 through a Morley Bad Horsie Wah, through a Behringer V-Amp 2 into a Mackie 1604 VLZ mixer out to the computer. I'm now using a Digitech 2120 Artist preamp instead of the V-Amp for recording. They're much cleaner.

Thanks for taking the time to listen!

Mate, its on my MP3 player now. I really love it. You've got a Joe Satriani thing going on there.

Thanks for the insight.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
