drop C composition

Sorry about all the background noise, as my video camera is so darn sensitive!!! This is my first attempt at some drop C composition. Its got no solo, the melody at the end is supposed to lead up to a solo of somesort. The song it will be part of is called "I see things". Its an instrumental about frightening experiances based on both personal and general experiances.

Warning: heavy riffs.

Some pretty heavy riffs you have going on there. I liked the beginning and the riff at 3:32 to the end...the ending was cool too.

I fixed the sound on my amp, turns out I had the bass turned up too high. But I"m too lazy to redo it.

Sounds good to me, bass too high or not. There isnt many bands/players I can stand to listen to very long in that genre of music, but WOW! I could listen to that one over and over.

Or is it just the sucky sound quality of the vid cam?

Or just the guitar can't handle the drop C?

I thought it sounded great...but what do I know?

Cameras can be difficult I guess. I have some experience in that department. I had a camera that was top of the line(at that time), and the biggest problem was it had a zoom mic....therefore it picked up everything you didnt want when you had a wide angle shot. Now exactly how that worked I dont know. If you can record to a different source, you could always shoot the video while you record, then dub it over the video. Trickiest part of that is getting te timing right at the beginning. I've done that quite a few times, however, I had all the right video equipment for the job(provided by the school of course). Just a thought.

But I still think it was SWEEEEEET!

There ya go! Told ya you could come up with something sweet yourself. Now you need to hook up with a drummer beatin' the snot out of the double bass pedals and a screamer on the mic.

I can do my half decent attempt at metal vocals...

Well I AM good at screaming at myself for not being able to shred...

I keep listening to it everytime I come on here...LOL

It kinda has that old school Metallica feeling to it, but I'm still waiting to hear Hetfield start in on the vocals
