Ok, I tried again...

Took another take of myself playing along to a very similar BT, but this time in A. Hopefully I did a bit better job of putting my lead out front and of following the progression...maybe? It's really sloppy cause I just did a quick take as it's getting late and didn't want to disturb the neighbors haha, but I'm anxious to see if this is where I should go, kinda--I went overboard on red-housishness for a second and wasn't really able to incorporate longer runs as some folks said I should work on, but it's not going to come overnight of course, gotta keep up the practice!... Thanks again for any comments, suggestions, or harsh criticisms

Now your lead is a bit too much in front. LOL It takes a while to get the mix right.
Your tone is a bit muddy, maybe a cleaner effect.
Your note choices did seem a bit more deliberate but, I still feel you haven't developed a melodic framework to play through so there tended to be a lot of unrelated riffing going on. It is important to hit some of the defining notes as you play over a chord progression. When you play the turn around chord, try to hit the b7th. It is the defining note.
All in all, your going in the right direction. Practice and experience will smooth things out and help you develop melodic ideas.
Hope I am not being to critical.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
