First Draft

This is a track me and a couple of mates (Bass/Drums) wrote while in a Rehearsal room last week.

Bearing in mind, it is a bit rough around the edges, this is NOT a performance of the piece, this is writing in action. This is perhaps the final recording we did of the day so probably our best, but it is a long way from performance level.

I am looking for some advice on the guitar playing/recording, how can I get it to sound 'clearer' any chord changes you do not like?

Do the changes in Time Signature work?

Any feedback gratefully received.

Oops, remember to put in the attachment

I tried to tap my foot to it but, got lost when you left 4/4. Sounds good though.

It is a time signature change.

It is in 9 time after that, if you count 9 during the chord changes and the Da DA DA you will note it. It is difficult because my strumming isn't keeping the 9/8 time with beat strumming. While the count is right, I have checked it, my strumming is on the off beat of your counting. We did do the DA DA DA first to bring you into the 9/8 timing. Although really for me I play it in a 3/4 timing in my head, though it really is 9/8

So it is confusing. I expect without knowing it, it would be very difficult to tap your foot too.

Thanks we in the studio again on Sunday, Bass player back from abroad, gonna try and play it through a nice 6" Marshall stack the Rehearsal rooms have.

It is a much crisper sound, though it is much harder to record nicely.

Have to see how it turns out.
