Just a little riff...
Now, this thing is tiny... But I wanted to get feedback on how others here think it sounds. I was watching this video and I heard a beautiful little fingerstyle piece, so I picked up the guitar and tried to recreate it... Needless to say, I failed lmao. But this is what I came up with instead. Now, I know this is simple... But I have NEVER played fingerstyle in my life...
Just looking to get some feedback on the riff itself really. It's only 16 seconds... It is just the opening bit. I plan on making a whole progression in this kind of feel. I know I missed time on the third pop at the halfway point, was a tad too fast on it.

Kind of sounds like a pre chorus. The 3 knocks don't seem to have a context in a piece that small so it is hard to say if it fits or not. It is worth working on to see where you can take it.

Sounds great, I think it has a nice blues appeal. I'd like to hear it completed and set to a Jimba for percussion.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
