Thanks Eddie. This is my first song with my pedal board and I made a boo boo. When I did it, I didn't write down all of my settings and I can't get the exact same tones to save my life. I can get close, but not exactly. Fortunately it's not that important, but now I learned my lesson.
All done with Audacity. No FX in the post processing. I used a Behringer GI-100 direct in box to my mixer. The vocals are recorded with a Nady SP5 mic (3 for $20 @ MF). Cheap but hefty and well made. The mic is a bit dark sounding, but at least it ain't tinny.

Man - I had to wade through 3 different sub-forums and go back to page 4 or 5 to find it, to make sure I hadn't missed something!
Yep, that's a good groove. Fly had it goin' on for sure!

It's not you, Fly - I just gotta get used to this new sub-forum structure. Things are spread out a little more.

It would be nice if you could play your favorites from the showcase like a playlist. That may be in there but I couldn't find it. Which BTW raises an issue. If you could play your favorites as a list, then submitters need to pay attention to volume levels. Kirk's songs would be a good reference to use to compare. And Audacity has both normalize and amplify functions to get it set.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
