Lcjones Nine Pound Hammer
Your Nine Pound Hammer is a fantastic version. It got this Kentucky boy tappin' his feet and singin' along. (and wishin' I had a guitar at work with me to play along) I enjoy your contributions to this site. Keep 'em comin'!
Thanks,
Bluegrass

Hey BG,
Thanks a ton! Appreciate your comments. I'm down Lincoln County way....

Thanks again!

We're practically neighbors (about a 2 hour drive). I live in Warren county, about 20 minutes from the Tennessee line. Thanks for the additional sample links, I loved June Apple!

Very cool. We go over to Glasgow every year for the Highland Games, kilt and all . Was over in Cave City a couple weeks back. Grandkids wanted to do Ky DownUnder. And the son wants to move over to Bowling Green.... him and his wife love it over that way.

That kind of music always seems to hook me for some reason... maybe its due to the fact that my family originated from Murray Kentucky... ahh who knows, find myself listening to it like a kid in a candy store. lol .. good stuff man.

Lcjones,
We live 8 miles from Bowling Green. My wife and I love the area. We both grew up in E'town, but both found jobs in Bowling Green after college. You can never go wrong by movin' further south!
Now that you mention it, I thought I saw a picture of a man holding a guitar and wearing a kilt. That's a good combination!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
