We have Radio! GFB&B Featured Members Radio!
Well after a few months of planning we have finally got the GFB&B Featured Members Radio up and running!! It's in the beta stage at the moment although so far it's tested ok.
We are starting off with tunes from our members lcjones, nocat, Rockerbob and Kirk. All the tunes on the Featured Members Radio are either originals or tunes that are old enough to not have a problem with the copyright. There's about 70 songs in the player so far with more coming soon... that's plenty of listening.
We've made sub-forums for all our featured members here so that other members can leave feedback or ask questions. These subforums are located under the radio forum but also can be accessed directly from the player as you will see... I've been lucky enough over the last couple of weeks to have been listening to all these great tunes... it really does make a difference when you are listening in a streamable format. We sure have some talent on here.
We are hoping to add more members music in the future. At the moment, nocat, lcjones and Rockerbob are all using their own servers for the streaming of their music. Thanks guys!!
The player I have chosen for the radio is a Flash player, so you will need the latest version of Macromedia Flash installed on your computer. If you don't have that already (chances are that you do) - you can download it from here - Flash Player
Anyway, without further ado, you can access the radio from the link up in the nav bar (after you have logged in) or from the link from the radio forum. Or just go here - The Radio.
Any problems just let me know in this thread. Enjoy and make sure you...
TURN IT UP!!

Kirk,
I thought this is what you were up to when you posted your lesson player on Wholenote! You told me it would be put to another use, and I felt kinda sure it would be the radio here!
Great job Clancy, and both you guys deserve kudos for a really great undertaking!

Thanks Kirk, for the 'little lessons player'...CSNY's - Deja Vu (my alltime favourite album) 4+20 awesome. The 'slide boogie' is going to keep this little family awake for some time I think LOL.

Great job Clancy. I'm trying to learn the radio's features and see if it will cycle through the play list automatically. Either in sequence or randomly.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
