Plugin Preset Posting

This thread goes along with the tutorial Using Effects and Plugins for those who would like to post their effects settings for others to enjoy and/or critique to help fine tune them. Audio clips would also be helpful so we can hear what it should sound like.

To save a preset, open the plugin and go to the “Plugin” menu and select “Patch Save”. Save the preset file with a name that identifies the plugin it goes with and also a description of the sound is helpful so you know what the preset sounds like. Because all plugins the same extension .fxp for their preset files you’ll keep to keep some kind of file organization otherwise they’ll all look the same and you won’t be able to find any particular preset in the future. Repeat this process for each plugin you are using.

Also, please include the order the effects go in so others can setup your effects the same way.

To load someone else’s presets, load the plugins in the order they listed them and use the “Patch Load” option in each plugin to load the specific presets.

OK, I think that’s about it. Rock on!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
