  You've got a Friend chorus

Hi Kirk,

I heard you just start the chorus and was wondering if you might be able to harmonize the vocal part of the melody line? It might be a bit advanced but perhaps you can do an easy version and then an advanced harmony version for the chorus. I'd love to see how you would approach the harmony!

To me the harmony of the chorus really makes the tune special.

Great site you have here!

All the best,

Jim

James! How nice to see you here.

Isn't that a beautiful harmony Carole and JT sang on the chorus? His part really stating the major 7th quality ... great stuff. I still haven't settled on the arrangement, but I'm definitely trying to capture that same vibe ... I'll see what I can do.

I definitely hear some 6ths:

you G B, just E C, call F# D/G (G in bass outlines a G maj7) and so on... Lot's of nice wide open voicing!

Maybe Clancy can figure out how to post grids!

Jim
