Took a while (cursed barre chord!) but I have finally learned my first song Anyways, I'm just wondering how to end this song, you can't exactly do a fade out like the video does, and it ends by picking the 5th string 3rd fret, which isn't quite right for an ending. Any ideas? thanks

I actually do finish a couple of songs live with a fade.
Works well.
The easiest way to finish is to resolve back to the 1 chord in song. What key is it?
What Scotty said. If your picking it, end on the root note. Also, if it fits and the root is one of the natural harmonics on the strings of the 12 fret, that is a great final note to play.
