Hi just a quick question , unless I over read this I didn't see it anywhere .

I set my click track to :

Tempo -120

Beats per measure - 4

Number of measures - 32

But it seems to be too fast or is it just me ?

I'm not following, hilch. Where did you get that 120 bpm? Why are you playing to a click track?

I want to record my progress , I reckon if I record this song now it might help me with my timming , so I can continually improve my playing ..

Every month or so I want to make a recording of the same song once a month over a period of a year , store them on C D all in one folder stored so WHEN ( and thats a big when ) I finally master this song I can show other beginners that no-one is perfect when they first start . The idea of a click track would be so I can just practice where ever I am only needing my C D player and guitar ..My son is learning the guitar as well and if I set good examples in front of him he might stop trying to be Angus Young all the time and practice his chords ..

Well, if it seems too fast, just slow it down to whatever feels right for you ... simple as that!

When I decided to practice deriously, I bought a metronome that has a tap function that let you tap to a song, and set the metronome with that tempo.

You can then read the tempo on the display. So I would suggest you such a metronome if you want to practice that way.
