  Pachelbel Canon & Melody.

I'm new here so I hopr this is being posted in the right place.

My first lesson's here at GFBAB were Pachelbel Canon & Pachelbel Melody. All the lessons are appealing, but these two really caught my ear. I learned them both, then ordered them to get the backing tracks to play to. I'm actually playing a song in tempo/in time and sounding good!

That's a huge step for me after a year of attempting to learn and play on my own, so I'm pretty excited about it.

As far as Ah-Ha moments, there were several.

Main one was, after a year of strumming chords and picking scales, instead of thinking "this finger goes here, this finger goes there, etc," Kirk's lessons had me thinking, "move to the chord, play it and any notes between movements (as in from chord to chord). All this time, my fingers knew where to go, I was just overthinking every single fingering position. In short, It actually feels like I'm playing the guitar now instead of searching and plucking.
