  12 bar rhythm riff

Kirk thanks for this one. I don't really fingerpick and have been struggling to move in that direction. When I saw this one I decided I would work on it last night. I spent about 1/2 hour getting the 'pattern' down (chord changes) and plucking with my fingers. Then I spent about 15 minutes just repeating the pattern. I wasn't sure how I sounded but when I left my office and went to talk to my wife in the next room she said "Hey that sounded good. I haven't heard you do that before."

Going to keep working on it until I can play it absolutely smoothly.

Just looked. It is there for me so you are having a problem with your player. Look in the troubleshooting forum. There are a couple of long posts about this problem that some people have. It is usually the settings in your player. If that advice doesn't fix it,post a message in that forum asking Clancy to give you a hand with it. Be sure to tell her what browser, windows and player you are using.

Thanks but I don't see anything that helps there. Where the video should be is just a blank spot on the page. I'm running XP.

In firefox in the options-content,make sure that the box that says from originating web site only is not checked. That fixed it for me and I was having the same problem you were. If that doesn't do it then post for Clancy to give you a hand, she is our tech person here.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
