Pachelbel Canon Bass Line

I tabbed the bass line for pachelbel cannon, and I as I understand it it repeats throughout the entire song. (It's in drop d).

G|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|
D|-0-------|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|---------|
A|---------|-0-------|-2-------|---------|---------|---------|---------|-0-------|
D|---------|---------|---------|-4-------|-5-------|-0-------|-5-------|---------|

I attached an mp3 of it, and it's real slow, it's 76 bpm but the way I did it was 1 chord for each bar (4/4 time) unlike the tab kirk did, but it's similar to a rendition that miles davis did that I like and I think it will allow for better improv.

Yes, nice one Ax ... my only comment is that it's going to take someone with a quartz precision internal metronome to be able to lock onto the ultra slow tempo. Maybe a subtle brush or slow shaker keeping time will help.

Thank You Kirk and Eddiez152.

I made a quick jam in 76bpm to try to make a case for the ultra slow bpm. I made a lot of mistakes, but I'll put a lot of time into for a different post, I overlooked them here just to illustrate the vibe for 76bpm (I didn't realize when it was going to finish for eg so the last note is a little odd). Also I've added in another bass line in 76bpm with a hit hat every beat. Also I've added the bass line in 96bpm and 120bpm. I don't think the high hat is need for the 96bpm and 120bpm since its so much faster, but if people would like it I can add it in. Also when I looped it it didn't work right, and since each loop should be 25 + 5/19 seconds I didn't feel in the mood for cutting the excess off when I made the quick jam, so I'll put in another 76bpm already looped.

That is a alot of work AX, Thanks. 76 BPM is real hard to hold on to, but I can see where it would be easier to follow the base with the lead.
Thanks again for all of the work you put into this.

I appreciate the thank you since a lot of times I don't get a response. When I was doing this stuff I made tabs for the melody on two other parts of the guitar here. I didn't put it up originally b/c I its already on the lesson, but now if you wanna play in on another part of the guitar it will save some hassle (buts it's just 1 octave I may do another octave some other day).
