Okay, I've come up with a chord progression and it's in 4/4 time...the strum pattern is:

down(1)-up(and)-down(2)-up(and)-down(3)----up(and)

Progression is:

G-Cadd9-D4(for 2 beats)-D(for 2 beats)-D4(for 2)-D(for 2)

Repeat, then:

Am-C-Am-C-Am-D then back to G and start again on the first progression.

Could someone give me an idea of a melody to sing over top of this progression...I'm not sure where to go with it, although I really like the chords.
