Yeah, Another one

Saturday afternoon here, was feeling kinda good for an old geezer and layed this out.....anyone here that can help an old man feel "not so old"? Kick the cane out from under me with something you add to this.

ElderRock.mp3

I have this on seperate tracks if you need to push me down...er back I mean.

Damn near a half century old, but I won't let that stop me from trying.

Come out of the doghouse, Hilch, step away from the coffee pot and the 'learn to spell' manual...LOL

Kidding, you ARE a busy guy!

X4, I'm trying...GRRR How about if I send you the lyrics and me singing them, and you play the backdrop to them? I'm using YOUR idea for the words...!!! You're gonna get a giggle, um, I hope!

Yeah, nice heavy tone on that one X4. Sorry, but I'm at a loss as to what to add to it. "Git yer motor running" comes to mind.

Thanks Guys....

Played around with it today some, added a intro and such and tried to get the rhythm down to a steady count. Kinda lost it in the middle, hopefully someone can fill it, Then again maybe its only fit for my head..lol

  ElderRock3....LMAO

Lyrics: (this is a present to all you YOUNG fellas!!! LOL) X4StringDrive, together you and I make almost a century, so I DO understand why this song idea came up! (Good thing YOU'VE got the lion's share of that century...running and hiding, now!) (I think Hilch may be havin' an effect on me, I spelled a word wrong the other day, and didn't bother fixing it! LMAO)

ElderRock - by Elle

You may think I’m old, but I’m not
Don’t need an iron for my body yet
I can prove I got what it takes
Just gotta cure these shakes

ElderRock, ElderRock!!! Geezer-Rock! Fogey-Rock!

Popping wheelies in my chair
Riding ramps and achievin’ air
Meds are coming it’s almost noon
They're servin’ stewed prunes in the dining room…

Don’t know why ya think I’m old
I still got it, truth be told
Not outside, but underneath
If I could just recall where I put my teeth!

Gray-rockin’, yeah!

I get more women than I ever did
When I was young and still a kid
There's 12 of them and one of me
The odds in my favour, one day you’ll see…!

Can’t find the numbers on the bingo board
But I don’t need no numbers to rock this chord
Take away my house, and my license too
But leave my guitar, it’s my rock debut

ElderRock, yeah yeah, Geezer-rock, ElderRock, Fogey-Rock!

Rock star of the Nursin’ Home, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh
They’re gonna sign me, I just know it….
Rock star of the Home, yeah, ElderRock

Yet to have a listen but Its a great read Elle, love the meds/prune line.
You may have to edit post and change to a larger font as some of the Elderrockers may struggle to read the lryics
