Question about hotel Cal BT (Clancy maybe)

There was a BT of hotel cal here, i added vocals and a bit of rhythm. I was wondering if i could download it and maybe have someone add lead and ending solo. It was slickcat who did the first one but i couldn't add vocals as it was, so maybe slickcat would like to take a shot at it. Its done with my cheap mic (which i'm famous for) but not too bad. If i put it on my soundclick it wouldn't be as easy, so i ask cause i'm not sure what the BT policy is, thanks

BTs come under the same copyright rules Tom, you could maybe email it to slickcat and put it at Soundclick when it's done.

I assume you meant you wanted to upload it here (not download). If I'm not understanding the question correctly, let me know.

Cheers,

Clancy

Tom if you put your bit on sooundclick send the short cut via PM to who ever they can download it from clicking the MP3 tab .

The downloader then can do what ever they like with it , and upload that to sound click then send you their link so you can down load what they have done , add what you have to add then post it on soundclick ..

This way you have not broken any policy here and providing the final version you post is under the cover catorgry then I can't see where there would be any problem ..

Is that right Clancy ? Allthumbs ? si16 ? who else is a mod ? Carol ?
Running out of names now ...

That sounds fine. Perhaps a better way to send the files would be to use a service like yousendit.com. Once the song is completed and all parts added then put it on soundclick for us all to have a listen.

Thanks hilch and si16. I decided the best way is to just post what i got so far because it has to be heard before the decision to complete it. There's another version on my soundclick too so this link will take to the right one (labeled Hotel Cal2) its on free download. Don't expect a great performance here I also didn't add much in the way of guitar except a distorted down strum here and there

Tom, try FREE Guitar Backing Tracks. They have a couple of HT BTs.

Thanks fly, i checked this site out last nite and downloaded tequila sunrise. The BT was so beautiful and complete it didn't leave much to do but sing finding the right one can be a challenge. I'll check the htc one

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
