Anybody want to try?
A country Rag,
looking for all of you to try some sweet lead guitar over this.
Progression is:
/..C../..F..G7../
/..C../..F..G7../
/..C../..F..G7../
/..G7../..C../
Bridge:
/..D7../..G../..Em../..A7../
then repeats.
Sadly I fudged the ending a bit, and have no way of editing it.
it's one take.
Anyway, Hope someone tries it.
Jim

Hey, no problem if you aren't a lead guitarist, just have fun with it.
Me and John and our friends used to sit around and play stuff like this for hours on end. But there is no one any more. So pretend we are all sitting on the porch jamming.
If anyone wants to take out my outro, and re do it, Feel Free to do so, I messed it up, but I don't have software to edit anything. What I play is What I get.
This is a good one to add Hand claping to.

If you mean should you try to fix what I messed up, Gee, that might be too hard to do, maybe better just to delete my ending tacets and try to put something else in.

Thats not an easy one although it's sounds as if it should be. It's tricky to make melody and lead blend which is what these type of songs sound best with .I like this type of music and should ty more to develop this lead style.I remember the days Jim is talking about, Give me another one somebody. johnbullard

Nice one John!
Loved that Taylor Hicks ending. woooo! heh heh
I think you are right it's harder than it sounds
I was gonna ask you to put a Bass line in it with BIAB, but I think my timming might be too far off. I;m just a toe tapper, and not that good at keeping good time.
Sounded good though.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
