There's some reviews for this particular guitar here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/r...Special+2/10/1

Ive got one, and havent had a drama with it. so far, but ive only had it a couple of months...
The pickups can be a bit muddy, which a lot of the reviews say. But i think they sound pretty good for a crunchy metal/rock sound on the neck/bridge, or bridge pup.
I found it to be a great guitar for the money. Considering what you CAN pay for an LP

I have a LP Custom and again I thought the pickups were muddy, that was until I plugged it into a different amp and now they sing! MY LP will sound good on my VOX and my Fender Blues junior, the Roland cube sounds very muddy!
Test the guitar on your setup and listen for yourself

For about $30 more you could get a solid wood Epi G310 - or you can afford it, a $100 more will get you a solid wood body Epi Les Paul 100

and the Agiles LP clones get VERY good reviews on harmony central. Solid Mahogany body with real maple capping, set necks. I am thinking very hard about picking up a couple myself one with p90s the other with humbuckers :-) The prices are very good if the guitar matches the reviews.

Agiles have the edge in quality though the epi is also upgradable. A friend just bought the epi and the first order of business was to order new pups and a bridge. I am waiting for his report on how that works out for him.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
