What Electro Acoustic.
Hi I've been learning guitar for about 4 months, and I would like to buy an electro acoustic. My budget is £250. I was considering the yamaha apx 500 but couldn't get my hands on one. So I had a look on the net and just got confused, as there seems to be lots to choose from. Can anybody give me advise. It would be much appreciated.

Look on UK ebay to get an idea of what is available and do research on reviews of the ones your interested in. Tell us what you will be doing with your axe. Bedroom playing, small venues or large? Are you going to be playing it a lot unplugged or do you have an acoustic for that?
You want a solid top for lower volume playing and a laminated top for louder gigging volume to control feed back. For finger picking a folk is best. Strumming is better with the bigger bodied guitars like the dreads.
Decide what your playing and where before deciding what to buy. Good luck.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
