Suggestions - Advice...

Hi all!
Well, I've just convinced the wife to let me upgrade! (WOOT!) Have been playing a Washburn D10S for the last year ( also have an old Yamaha G150A Classical and a CC57 Ovation. I tend to more into fingerstyle than anything else.
Here's what I'm considering right now - Larrivee OM-03E, Breedlove AC25/SR Plus and a Blueridge BR183 -000 (am leaning toward the Larrivee). Would like to stick with OM/OOO size. Any comments or other guitar suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, price range is $1000 - $1300.

Thanks

There are so many guitars out there for that price range. Thanks to CNC and some great high volume mfg. techniques, some of these makers are starting to shine.

I suppose you couldn't go wrong with the Larrivee, and I like Breedloves. The bottom line is the one you like, of course. You might also check out the Martin D-1 series. They play pretty well.

Have fun with it,

Steve

Becoming a great guitarist has less to do with fancy moves than it does becoming a master of the basics and learning musicianship.
It's not what you can't do. It's how you play what you already know.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
