Both are very nice guitars. Spend the extra cash and get the ESP M - 200FM. It has higher quality pickups and the neck through should improve the sustain of the guitar.

Ditto on that Matt_11 I always thought ESP's were great, but i played a couple recently and I thought that they felt plastic in my hands... They had a nice accoustic sound and they were very light though.

I'll stay with my Jackson or I'll get myself a LP or PRS...

  Check out other brands

Ive always been a big ESP fan myself but for half the cash of an ESP you could get twice the guitar. Personally i like jacksons and bc rich more and they definetly cost less.

Ive got a BC Rich, and Ill be really honest by saying that a veteran guitarist would not approve of them, not the ones that someone of my age would see as 'affordable'.
That is why Mick Thompson switched to Ibanez, they are some of the best guitars Ive played, even the cheaper ones have the sort of quality a veteran would look for.
Back to BC Rich, but my Warlock suits me fine for now, but in the future Ill be looking for either an Ibanez or a Jackson. At the moment however, I am looking for a top end Mick Thompson M7 anyone?

I say get what you feel man, get what gives you the sound you want. I could say this Jackson or Ibanez are the best guitars in the world. But go with what ever you like. Just because malemsteen plays a Strat doesn't mean I have to. go with what ever sounds best to you and the way you play.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
