More Confused by the Minute

Hi All,

I have been looking at some of your suggestions (on the net to sort out before going buying) with particular attention to your ideas about what would be suitable to my short 5'3" size. On the Martin page, I found a new twist that I wasn't expecting - that is 12 fret and 14 fret models in the different sizes. What are the pros/cons to 12 vs 14 fret guitars?

Thanks,
Chris

Pro - easier reach to the 1st fret on a 12 fret model.
Con - harder to play above the 12th on a 12 fret model.

most 12 frets don't come w/a pickguard if that's important to you, and if it is, you can add one w/o too much difficulty.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
