I love my Takamine electro-acoustic. When I played every guitar in the shop I liked the sound the best. My budget was $1000 - 1500 and for that price I liked it the best. See what you like when you play them. What you like is a personal choice.

I heard that they are rather good instruments. The thing with a guitar though is that the better wood it is made of,the better the instrument and of course the sound that will produce. In a way it depends on how much money you are willing to spend...Also keep in mind,if you are interested in buying a guitar to test it first. It must feel ok for you,it is also a matter of taste...

Solid guitars. They don't have the same name recognition as a Martin or Gibson, Guild, etc., but they are a real nice middle of the road guitar from my experience playing around with them.

Every Tak I have had the chance to play(in shops or at friend's) have had a certain appeal. Good sound, well made, just nice to play.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
