This?
Red Chameleon Ibanez XPT700 w/FREE HARDSHELL CASE - eBay (item 160230134986 end time May-14-08 11:04:42 PDT)

Or Jackson King V for alil bit less?

Pros of the Xi:
-Cool shape
-Cool color
-Can be played sitting down
-Metal all the way!!!
-Good for scaring the folks at community jazz band
-Pickups work like EMGs but without batteries (Dimarzio DeActivators)

Cons of the Xi:
-its more pointier than the Jackson, which means it could get scratched easier
-More expencive
-I've been told that it gets neck-heavy when you play it sitting
-Weighs like a brick!!!
-The notorious-for-going-outta-tune Edge 3 bridge
-"For metal use only"

Pros of the Jackson:
-Tremolo is not low profile style, which means my EVH DTUNA will fit on it (I haven't been able to use the Dtuna with my RG because of the trem)
-Cheaper than the Xi
-Balanced shape
-I've been wanting it for awhile
-Better trem than the edge 3
-Lighter than the Xi and even my RG

Cons of the Jackson:
-It is still a pointy axe, which could mean it gets scratched easy
-Can't be played sitting because of the shape
-Even playing standing up takes getting used to
-"For metal use only"

I need opinions.

Sounds like you're leaning toward the Jackson Jess, seems to be a bit more user friendly than the Ibanez, although it is a cool shape the weight could be a drawback, I don't think I've seen you playing sitting down I'm sure you do in practice but you're either standing up or hanging upside down in your Videos so that might not be an issue, I have seen people playing the Vs sitting down, they both have the potential for damage but I would have thought the Ibanez is more likely to get damaged, I think the Jackson for purely practical reasons as it's lighter than the Ibanez, might stay in tune better, gives you the opportunity to use your EVH DTUNA and you've been wanting it for ages would get my vote. Don' think you'd be wanting to swing that Ibanez around your head either looks like a lethal weapon and if it weighs a ton it could cause you back problems in the long term.
How do they compare sound wise?

If you get a chance try some jacksons at a local store and then some Ibanez....the necks are totally different. I prefer Ibanez necks they seem to fit my hand better....Jacksons are wider.

Being the owner of two Ibanez's, I've gotten too used to Ibanez's. But I have played many jackson's, ESP's, Dean's, and Fender's. Even though I dont own them. So I guess I could kinda get used to something new.

It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
