Ibanez S470DX or Jackson Soloist?

I am going to start playin jazz and other softer music and i've been told my RG is too aggressive/doesn't have the right tone. I was thinking of something more versitile that I can shred with (when I can) and jazz with too. What would be better for jazz? S470DX or Soloist?

Well if you still want the looks maybe you can try some carvins. They make such beautiful guitars, also you can try satriani's signature series or any other Ibanez. There's so many out there, it is just a matter of preference though.

Well Xiphos is out of the picture for sure.

But I"ll still get a Xiphos someday.
