Anyone Tried The Yamaha Gigmaker?

Soon I'm buying my first acoustic and I looked at Yamaha gigmaker standard and I think it looks great what are your thoughts on it ? has anyone bought it ?

P.S Not a guitarist for the first time, I play electric but thought of getting an acoustic on budget

If you looking for a solid guitar on a budget, you can go Yamaha. I have not heard anything bad about this company. Here is a website with great customer review about this product.

i bought the gigmaker kit years ago. for the money it was ok good sound and all but here is the deal...save a little longer and go with better quality. i ended up giving mine away to a friend who takes it camping. its an ok deal but you already having experience won't like it...the action is way to high, the neck twist pretty easy and the strings are brutal...all in all in enjoyed mine but i wish i would have spent a little more and got a better guitar the first time...its a great kick around pick up and play for a little while on the back porch but nothing i would play on a regular basis....

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
