This was a fun little track to noodle over good job jack. Here's my very sloppy take. I cant believe I'm posting this. Try not to laugh.

Sounded pretty good to me, Stratplayer. You had a nice groove going there!

I just been playing my accoustic for lead with this and it's a lot of fun, had me working the whole fretboard having a blast.
Nice one.

hey can someone explain to me how do you play over a back track that someone posted like this one. do you just improvise or something i comfused. do you have to know the chords or what understanding of the bt you have to have to be able to do this. i mean stratplayer played over this bt and i like it and want to do something like it.

thanks

I really like that. I have question on your recording technique. I currently have a new iMac with GarageBand. I'm using Behringer UB802 mixer for an interface. I'm trying to get that nice fat sound like you have on this lead improvising. Do you mic your amp (or line out to soundcard) or are you using a DI of some sort for connecting your guitar directly?
Would really appreciate your response.
thx

I recorded that with my digitech gnx3000 and Audacity using a patch i created trying to get that SRV tone still tweaking it though.
