Slide Backing Track (sans slide)

Here is the backing track that allthumbs requested, the slide backing without the actual slide track. This lets someone develop both melody and a solo without the presense of the slide track which was a bit busy leaving few open spaces.

Kirk, you can put a real slide to the track now!

Here is the revised slide BT Kirk and Allthumbs. For some reason, the forum is not yet visable on the main page except for an announcement. I'm sure Clancy is busy working on that.

Thanks Clancy for putting this forum up. Not having a seperate forum for what we called at WN add-a-tracks was a complaint those of us who participated in them had with the site. Way to go!

Hi Jim, that's funny I was sure I put the forum up before the announcement. hmm, strange... I assume you can see it now though, I hope so anyway. Let me know if you can't.

I think what we'll do is put the backing tracks in this forum and make them "stickies" so that they are always at the top of the forum and don't get buried down behind other posts... If you have any other ideas, let me know. Again, suggestions on improving the forum are always very welcome.

Cheers

Clancy

Clancy, I have to echo Jim's sediments. It's huge to see a forum dedicated to what we called add a track, and I think making making a separate sub forum for the backing tracks is awesome. Thanks.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
