Faster Bluesy
Here's a backing track that Bruce Maag found. It's your basic 12-bar in G. It's a fun one. Have fun with it!

Yeah, at one time at another site, we had all three of these bt's going: SlowBluesy, FasterBluesy and FastBluesy. Same track only sped up. Made for some great takes.

The BT sounds a little reminiscent of ACDC's "The Jack"

Mind you asking?? Heck no. That was Les Paul through a Trace Elliot SpeedTwin C50 amp. The cab is 2x12 Celestion speakers. I picked up this amp a few years ago and just totally love the range of tone I can get with this thing! Thanks!

I've heard that before. Maybe whoever made it modeled it from that.

Nevertheless, it's great to play along to. Thanks for sharing it Steve!
BTW, great take on it yourself Steve. I too loved the tone you got from your LP through your amp, with a little help from your fingers.

Oh yeah, I remember that one. It was a sweet take, the ol' bottle neck blues. http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/fo...6&d=1167701747

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
