C Blues Shuffle
Hi Folks,
.....took the liberty of playing alto sax on chorus 1 and 3...leaving the 2nd and 4th chorus for guitar...any takers ?
........the sax line is a wee tribute to Charlie 'Bird ' Parker...hope it takes you to the right zone.
...........look forward to hearing some solo's.
.........thanks Kirk for the shuffle groove and the chromatic section...felt good.
......yo'll take care now.

Wonderful sax solos! I love the notes and the tone.
Here's some of my flailing to go with it.

C Blues
...........thanks for the vibes RB. - However, my solo's are note for note from a Charlie Parker tune called ' K.C. Blues ' - ( Kansas City Blues ) - I can't take credit for it, although, appreciate your comment re my tone. - ' Bird ' was the king hands down...in my view...for what it's worth. - I love John Scofield...' Bird's ' right in there.
Bye the way...love your playing...you dig deep...the only way to get there...ha !!
Best wishes R.B.

Mine
I ushually play classical scales, so i was diggin the blues feel
Very good sax playing, even if it was note for note the execution was very good and had a lot of feeling.
Thank you for putting this up here i really liked playing along with it and it diversified my playing some.
I recorded a bunch of 'em, and here are the best two. I think the second one is a little better, but they're about the same.
(i play wicked slow)

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
