Here's a backing track I found. I like the Jazzy feel and would love to hear your guys interpretations over it. The site I found it on says its an Am-Dm-F-E Chord Progression but I don't think that's right. I'm fairly sure it's an Em-Am-C-B Chord Progression.

I wish I could start out with my own recording but I just bought some new recording equipment and I'm still learning all the functions.

Hi Julian. Clancy and I are in the middle of writing guide lines for uploading bts to this forum. For now i guess we will have to take it 1 bt at a time. Our concern is copyright. Has the author of your bt given permission to share it? It is probably ok because it is a rather generic progression but, a lot of sites have been shut down because of these things so be very cautious and make sure you can trace bts back to it's origin. We may have to delete questionable bts at some point.

I think that if it's just a chord progression, even a well known one, there is no issue. From my understanding, only melody lines can be copyrighted, and even there it needs to be a certain number of bars. BT's like this one will be fine.

I like it Julian, it's almost got a Django vibe to it and I'll be doing a quick overdub asap. It's a neat one to wrap melody lines around! Did you put it together yourself?

I'm sorry, I should of gave more info either way. I would in no way ever do anything that could possibly shut this site down. I did email the site before posting just to be sure and he said it was fine.
