How to use the nice backing tracks?

Thanks for providing the backing tracks, that is awesome. Now I have a question. I have a MR-8 for recording myself. I can easily play the backing tracks on my PC and play them through my PC speakers. While the backing track is playing, I can do my thing and record what I am doing on the MR-8. I will then have a WAV file that I can manipulate on my PC.

I can convert the WAV file to MP3 with out any trouble.

So how do I take the WAV or MP3 file and mix in the MP3 backing track to make a completed song?

What software should I get?

Audacity and multitrack studio are two good ones.

I use Cakewalk Sonar, it's a bit pricy though.
