Can't believe I'm going anywhere near blues after listening to the very high standard on this forum but hey, here's a short dabble I had with this great BT. Thought I'd give it a quick sample to gather some honest opinions, yes my playing is a bit on the rough side but do you guys think I could pursue a little blues. Not a lot lengthy sample I know but just enough to see if I can get the feel for blues, who knows with more practice I may even get better.

That was pretty good. You only missed one chord change. Some nice ideas in there. Keep it up.

Sweet BT, Slick! I'm gonna have to practice up and take a run at that one!

Oh yah, excellent, Jon. Nice work. You definitely have a future in the blues! The only suggestions I'd have is to lay back and play more 'in the pocket' and to think that the blues is about having emotion in your playing. I mean just be a bit more emphatic and purposeful, I guess is a couple of ways of saying it.
Nice stuff.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm aware that I have a long way to go with the fingers and brain before my playing starts to become more fluid. I couldn't resist having a go with this one though, the BT just pulls you in, when I listened to it for the first time I had no escape, I just had to pick up my guitar and give it a go.
I'll be playing with this one some more that's for sure. It's a superb practice piece.

Excellent backing track, I was jamming along to it, and enjoying. Even though I wasn't sure of the chords. No ear for that yet. Some of it (my playing) sounded alright, with the great backing track.
Thanks I'll use this.

Wow i came across this BT a while back and plyed my acoustic against it, called it g blues sounds, so it was a familiar sound when i found this thread. Anyway it gets better as i warm up to it as i play. I haven't been able to do the backtrack thing much better then this one
