Excellent job!!
Your tone was spot on and you've really got a handle on SRV's playing style -- I really, really dug this one.
Congrats!

Thanks SlickCat. There was another take on here I did with a little more SRV dirty growl to it, dunno where it went.

You definitley have that SRV vibe....I think the dirty track is just a wee bit too distorted. Your playing is so close to nailing that song though, I think just playing it a few more times it will all come together perfect. I dig it!! Stevie is smiling down at ya.

I think twice was enough of that one that tune keeps ya on your toes though, the timing is tricky to me ,especially without a vocal.. thanks SlickCat.SRV definitley one of my influences.. I'm smiling down on him in my Avatar.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
