How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D DVD by Kirk Lorange

If you really want to spice up your playing, slip a slide over your pinkie and add it to your musical vocabulary. There's no need to re-tune your guitar to an open tuning, just stay in standard or lower that bass string down to D. Kirk shows you how in this 70 minute DVD, talking and playing you through the basics, vibrato, muting, playing single note lines, finding all the chord flavors (they're all there!) and mixing it all into one very neat hybrid style of playing guitar.   Sonny Landreth CD

Hi guys, went to see Jimmy Buffett last night in Phila PA and he had Sonny Landreth with him. Sonny did a great job on quite a few songs. I am not familiar with his body of work so which CDs of his or that he plays on do you reccomend?

Thanks

An odd combination, but I'm sure Sonny could cut th gig, no problem.
Grant Street is his latest CD and his only live album. Powerful.
His benchmark CD is probably South of I-10.
