How to Play Slide Guitar in Standard/Dropped-D DVD by Kirk Lorange
If you really want to spice up your playing, slip a slide over your pinkie and add it to your musical vocabulary. I played one at NAMM.
Same compaint as all other electrified reso's.
Magnetic pickups should not be placed under the neck- they belong under the bridge as with any other electric guitar except for jazzboxes. A reso is NOT a jazzbox.

so why is everyone putting them at the neck? at least with this guitar, it seems to have the room to mod it for a bridge pickup

There are logistical problems with the reso construction and bridges that give the builders problems. Plus these guys build reso's and not electrics. They REALLY dont get it. Clueless as a group, IMHO.
